Cory Comstock, Partner
Cory has served as CEO of Full Sail Brewing, Angie’s Kettle Corn, Oregon Chai and, most recently, Remedy Drinks. He serves as Chairman of both Willamette Valley Meat and Superior Fruit Equipment, and is on the board of Diversified Marine. Cory has been a board member and investor in Eagle Pack Natural Pet Food, Food Should Taste Good, Immaculate Baking Company, and Half Pops. Earlier, Cory was a partner with Sherbrooke Capital and an Operating Partner with Encore Consumer, and he began his career working in sales for PowerBar and Odwalla. Cory attended Washington State University and has lived in Oregon since 1999.
J.B. Handley, Partner
J.B. co-founded Swander Pace Capital in 1996, a middle-market private equity firm. He is on the board of Burgerville USA, Willamette Valley Meat, Superior Fruit Equipment, Diversified Marine, and Bamboo Sushi. He has participated in more than 50 investments in private companies including Applegate Farms, totesISOTONER, Fleischmann’s Vinegar, International Fiber, Central Coast Surfboards, ReNew Life Probiotics, Oregon Chai, American Hard Cider, and Reef Sandals. Sam Handley, Partner
Sam was previously at Imperial Capital, supporting both M&A, equity, and debt capital markets. He is on the board of Willamette Valley Meat, Superior Fruit Equipment, and Diversified Marine. Sam also plays professional lacrosse for the California Redwoods in the Premier Lacrosse League. B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Sam was raised in Oregon and attended Jesuit High School.
Drew Little, Partner
Drew has 30 years of experience founding and running tech companies, angel investing, and consulting with business owners. He is on the board of Willamette Valley Meat, Superior Fruit Equipment, and Diversified Marine. Drew founded and ran Red Giant, the largest special effects software company in its market, which he sold to Germany’s Maxon in 2020. B.S. From the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Drew has lived in Salt Lake City since 2010.
Nathan Ngai, Partner
Nathan was most recently the VP, Finance & Strategy for Oregon Ice Cream, LLC. Prior to that, he was a VP at Swander Pace Capital, where he participated in more than 11 private investments including Oregon Ice Cream, Kicking Horse Coffee, and Santa Cruz Nutritionals. He is on the board of Willamette Valley Meat, Superior Fruit Equipment, and Diversified Marine. Nathan began his career doing M&A for Harris Williams & Co. B.A. from Duke. Nathan was raised in Oregon, attended Catlin Gabel, and presently lives in Camas, WA.
